As such, this suggests that the area in the painting is a residential, and for the rich. Beside each home is are spruce trees spreading their leaves out wide. Lastly, the street has a junction and a well-decorated street lamp at the forefront of the intersection.
Above the street is a blue sky that has shades of white clouds high above. As a result, this suggests that the weather in Moret was Summer. Additionally, this is backed by the green trees within the area. Additionally, the buildings in this painting have tall chimneys, thus suggesting that Moret has a spree of cold winters. Last but not least, civilians in the picture are in huge trench coats. As such, this implies that it could be in the evening or morning. Notably, the painting has the artist’s signature secretly disguised on the left side of the canvas.
